Fire Extinguisher Class

Life Safety Park, 820 S. Coppell Rd.

About: Fires happen, but many are preventable and some small fires can even be stopped before they cause continued damage. Knowing what to do and acting quickly with the use of a fire extinguisher can prevent unnecessary loss of life and property. With the holidays fast approaching and with them the increased risk of experiencing a home fire, Life Safety Park is holding a free class open to the public which will review the different types of fire extinguishers, recommended maintenance and placement in the home, as well as proper use/technique. After this quick classroom lesson, participants will be given an opportunity to practice their skills by extinguishing a range fire on a realistic Bullex training prop. The class is open to ages 16+. Registration is encouraged, but not required. Find out more on our website,

Cost: Free!
