Buy in Coppell! Join the City of Coppell for ‘Takeout Thursday!’

​Now more than ever, Coppell restaurants need your support! When you dine at a local restaurant, our community benefits, our businesses benefit, and our economy benefits. Support your community and eat local. Join the City of Coppell for 'Takeout Thursday' and a pop-up parade on Thursday, April 23! ​

Residents are encouraged to patron a local restaurant and Buy in Coppell on April 23 to help keep the local economy strong! While following social distancing guidelines, gather your family and have fun while supporting Coppell restaurants. Many local eateries are offering curbside, delivery and takeout options, so be sure to visit for a list of Coppell restaurants and contact information. 

Join the community for a parade down Denton Tap from the safety of your car at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 23! Grab a meal from a local restaurant and picnic in your car while the parade goes by. Parade participants are encouraged to gather in their vehicles at Wagon Wheel Park, 345 Freeport Pkwy., at 5:15 p.m. The parade will begin at Wagon Wheel Park, entering off of Freeport, proceed right onto Freeport Pkwy., continue left onto Bethel Rd., circle the Square in Old Town, continue right back onto Bethel Rd., then proceed north on Denton Tap. The parade route will end at Andy Brown Park West. Residents are encouraged to order takeout/pick-up from their favorite Coppell restaurants and park along Denton Tap to watch the parade go by. Please note: all social distancing rules must be followed. Masks or similar face coverings must be worn at all times while in public. Standing along Denton Tap is discouraged. No parties are permitted to distribute promotional items or candy. No dining inside of restaurants will be permitted. No gathering will be permitted. While this might not be a typical Coppell parade, the City of Coppell appreciates your understanding and flexibility at this time.
