Niche.com recently named Coppell the 2018 Best Place to Live in Texas. The website analyzed public data from the United States Census Bureau, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Internal Revenue Service and other sources to rate Coppell and other Texas cities on higher education rate, crime and safety, health and fitness, cost of living and numerous other factors.
Top marks in the Public Schools, Housing, Good for Families, Jobs, and Diversity categories helped Coppell earn an Overall Niche Grade of A+. Coppell also received high marks in the Cost of Living, Nightlife, Crime and Safety, Health and Fitness, and Commute categories.
"Coppell is an incredible place. We have wonderful residents who are passionate about the city, and we truly have a very strong sense of community," said Coppell Mayor Karen Hunt.
