Miles of Mercy

October 18 - 19  |   8 am   |   Flat Rock Ranch – Ragnar Trail Hill Country

Ways to help a grieving child: Give choices, encourage consistency and routine, and talk about and remember the one who died.

Each fall a group of TeamMercy Ambassadors join forces to complete an extreme running event. Two hundred (200) miles in two days. It's about doing things together that we could never do alone. Each runner dedicates their miles to a sibling set. We run to remember a child who has died and to honor those kids who lost a sibling. We speak their names, pray for them, and share their stories. We bring attention to kids' grief, raising awareness that child loss is also sibling loss.

This gives children and their families opportunities to talk about and remember the one who has died. Follow the adventure on our social media.

Supporting a child on the grief journey is a team effort. Like these extreme events, we do it together because we could never do it alone. Our event for 2019 is Ragnar Trail Hill Country, October 18-19.
