Preview the Coppell Arts Center on May 4

The Coppell Arts Center preview space in Old Town Coppell will open its doors on Saturday, May 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and showcase the City’s first glimpse of the new venue.

The Preview Center will include virtual reality tours, designer renderings, a venue spotlight video, and promotional giveaways items for attendees. Festivities on the “May the 4th Be with You” opening weekend will include complimentary food from Twisted Root Burger Company, live DJ music, a Wookie-call contest, and other games and prizes.

“We’re excited to share this incredible new venue with everyone in Coppell,” said Alex Hargis, Managing Director of the Coppell Arts Center. “We’re hoping every citizen will at some point come to Old Town and see their new home for arts and entertainment in Coppell.”

The Preview Center will be located across from the Farmer’s Market pavilion, located at 743 W. Main Street, with dedicated public hours on the first and third Saturdays of the month.

“Even though the Center will not be open for another year, we wanted a place where the community could connect with the Center and see its development,” said Mayor Karen Hunt. “The Preview Center is located right next to the construction site in Old Town, and we encourage residents to stop by and say ‘hello’ and ask questions.”

Attendees of the Preview Center’s opening day must RSVP to receive their complimentary food and drink ticket. Anyone can RSVP at the Center’s event page at
