Theatre Coppell – Tell me on a Sunday

August 30 - September 1  |   Friday and Saturday 8 pm and Sunday 2:30 pm   |   Theatre Coppell

A young English girl has just arrived in New York, brimming with optimism. She sets out to find success, companionship and, of course, love. Through anxieties, frustrations, and heartaches, she begins to wonder if she's looking for love in the wrong places. This one-woman musical takes a humorous look at oddities such as California's penchants for capped teeth, Caesar salads, and sandwiches that are too big for the average mouth.

Tell Me on a Sunday opens Friday, August 16, at Theatre Coppell and performs on weekends through September 1. To make reservations, visit theatrecoppell.com or call 972-745-7719. Performances are at the Center for the Arts, 157 S. Moore Road, in Coppell.

Miles of Mercy

October 18 - 19  |   8 am   |   Flat Rock Ranch – Ragnar Trail Hill Country

Ways to help a grieving child: Give choices, encourage consistency and routine, and talk about and remember the one who died.

Each fall, a group of TeamMercy Ambassadors join forces to complete an extreme running event of 200 miles in two days. It's about doing things together that we could never do alone. Each runner dedicates their miles to a sibling set. We run to remember a child who has died and to honor those kids who lost a sibling. We speak their names, pray for them, and share their stories. We bring attention to kids' grief, raising awareness that child loss is also sibling loss. This gives children and their families opportunities to talk about and remember the one who has died. Follow the adventure on our social media. Supporting a child on the grief journey is a team effort. Like these extreme events, we do it together because we could never do it alone.
